Prevention

Ambassadors of Hope, LLC offers FREE parenting education classes to families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Classes are taught using the evidenced-based curriculum entitled Nurturing Parenting. Classes are hosted multiple times during the year at several of partnering agencies.

 
Classes Include:

• Facilitation by a Trained Professional

• Family Meal

• Child Care

• Connection to Other Parents
   

Who should attend:

• Parents and Caregivers that are not actively involved with the Department of Child Services

• Grandparents raising grandchildren

• Fathers wanting to be more active in their child’s life

• Parents with kids with complex conduct issues

• Family and Friends who want to better help parents
